DSH and other German Language Tests
The DSH exam (“Deutsche Sprachprüfung für den Hochschulzugang”) is conducted five to seven times a year by the Centre for Applied Linguistics and Special Languages (FSZ). It is necessary for foreign applicants wishing to attend university in Germany. The FSZ is a recognised and authoritative influence throughout Germany for their involvement in DSH quality assurance.
In addition, both the onDaF (“Online-Einstüfungstest Deutsch als Fremdsprache”) German language placement test and TestAs (“Test für Ausländische Studierende”) aptitude test for foreign applicants are also offered at the FSZ.
